Iver - Know your guitar teacher
Hi! I’m Iver Sanchez, an acoustic and electric guitar tutor pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Technology from Stevens Institute of Technology. I offer beginner to advanced guitar lessons for students and adults, with 10+ years of experience as a trained guitarist, vocalist, and musician. I teach several styles of music, from pop and R&B to jazz, blues, rock, and metal. My specialties lie in rhythm and lead playing, chord progressions, general music theory, scales, fingerstyle, and several other mindblowing techniques on the guitar! As a private guitar instructor, I’ve taught many students over the course of 2 years. Some of them were around 5 years old, some were pushing their mid 60s! I find that tailoring my teaching style to the needs of students is what helps them learn best! What you can expect of me, as your tutor, is a warm and welcoming environment where you can share your creativity and skills. I will always provide constructive advice so that you can hone your craft to the best of your capability while having a great time! While I’m a student myself, I seek to pass on all of my knowledge and expertise, tailoring my teaching style to the needs of my students! Join me through the masterful journey of music!
