Experience dynamic vocal coaching in a variety of genres with a Royal Academy of Music education tutor and performer.

I’ve spent the last 15 years working as a performer, songwriter, actor and vocal coach, and I try to bring all of that experience into my teaching. Whether you’re preparing for auditions, building confidence, exploring Acting Through Song, or just singing because you love it, my lessons are always tailored to the person in front of me. Before teaching, I toured Europe as the lead singer of a rock band supporting Die Toten Hosen, then moved into songwriting and acting training in Brighton and London. I’ve been lucky enough to learn from and be encouraged by Imelda Staunton and Claude-Michel Schönberg, and trained with renowned vocal coaches Dan Bowling and Mary Hammond, whose students include Adele, Yungblud and Chris Martin. Last summer, I was also hand-selected by Thom Yorke to sing in Hamlet Hail to the Thief with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Alongside private coaching, I’ve taught at Urdang Academy. I also offer audition prep, songwriting support, bespoke backing tracks, and ATS coaching. Above all, I want lessons to feel encouraging, creative and genuinely enjoyable — a space where people can grow in confidence and find their own voice, and of course always with joy. Meg x
