Certified Elementary Teacher Helping Kids Build Confidence in Math while having fun!

I am an elementary school teacher with over a decade of of experience working with young learners in reading and mathematics. I currently teach a combined first and second grade classroom where I help students build strong foundational skills, confidence, and problem solving abilities. I have experience supporting students at different learning levels and helping them understand concepts in ways that make sense to them. My teaching style is interactive, patient, and encouraging. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging and when they feel comfortable asking questions. I break math concepts down into simple steps and use visuals, real life examples, and guided practice so students can clearly understand how to solve problems. I also enjoy incorporating games and fun activities into lessons because they help students stay motivated and excited about learning. Educational games allow students to practice skills while thinking critically and building confidence.
