My name is Christian McHenry. I have been playing guitar since I was twelve years old, and I have ten years of experience teaching guitar. I have been leading worship bands since I was sixteen, and I love helping students achieve their musical goals. I work with students who desire to play acoustic or electric guitar. I can help you to learn songs that you love, understand chord shapes and structures, and grasp music theory for guitar. I always to try to teach students the Nashville Number System, which is the standard in the music industry. I also really enjoy writing songs and would be happy to help you craft your own songs if that is something you are interested in doing. I have been a worship pastor for about 12 years now. So I have a lot of experience coaching musicians in their craft, as well as putting musicians together to play cohesively. I have the most experience with worship, contemporary Christian, or alternative singer songwriter music, but I can help you learn whatever style you desire to learn. I have worked with students who love everything from country to hard rock, so nothing is off the table. I am excited to help you achieve your musical goals, and to take this journey of learning the guitar with you!
