An experienced university educated tutor with over 14 years of experience in specialising in mathematics in both elementary and high school

I am Legbosi Akpo, a bachelors educated tutor with over 14 years of experience in specialising in mathematics. My expertise is in elementary, middle and high school mathematics. I offer learning through fun oriented activities, gamification etc. I'm comfortable working with pupils/students with special disabilities . My teaching style is all about making mathematics fun and accessible by using real life examples to show mathematics relevance, simple and clear explanations, practise problems to build confidence with lots of examples ,interactive sessions to keep you engaged by using diagrams, charts , graphs to help see mathematics. I also apply related examples by using everyday scenarios to illustrate mathematical concepts I am also patient, encouraging , confidence builder, adaptating teaching style to fit individual needs. I explain mathematical concepts in simple terms. I am also a good listener, I listen to students/pupils struggles and doubts, provides constructive feedback not just grade . I encourage curiosity and exploration . I make complex concepts simple by breaking down tough topics into manageable bits. I also endeavour to create a positive learning environment and encourage critical thinking
