Hello! My name is Julian Rojas. I am a musician and educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience and a master’s degree in music. I offer lessons in electric, acoustic, and classical guitar, as well as bass and beginner piano. My teaching approach focuses on developing strong musical foundations through harmonic progressions, ear training, music theory, rhythm, and practical repertoire. I believe that understanding how music works helps students become more creative, independent, and confident musicians. Whether you are a beginner starting your musical journey or an advanced student looking to deepen your skills, I adapt my lessons to each student’s level, goals, and musical interests. In my classes we explore chords, scales, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, rhythm, and a wide range of repertoire from different musical traditions, including Colombian music and styles from around the world. I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment where students can enjoy the learning process and develop their own musical voice.
