Denise Meriche – Singing Coach & Vocal Tutor My teaching style is supportive, personalised, and rooted in strong musical foundations. I am Denise Meriche, a choir-trained vocalist with a Bachelor’s degree, offering tailored singing lessons designed to help each student grow in confidence, technique, and musical understanding. I provide one-to-one personalised lessons for children and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. My teaching covers a wide range of musical styles including pop, blues, musical theatre and film music, as well as classical singing, allowing students to explore and develop their voice across different genres. A core part of my teaching focuses on ear training, harmony, and counterpoint, helping students develop strong listening skills and musical awareness. I place a strong emphasis on melody, pitch accuracy, vocal technique, and music theory, ensuring students build both technical skill and musical confidence. In addition to vocal training, I teach harmony and chord structures, improvisation, and composition, encouraging creativity and musical expression. Lessons can also explore music history, rhythm and beat, scales and modes, giving students a broader understanding of music and how it works. My goal is to create a positive, inspiring learning environment where every student feels supported in developing their voice, discovering their musical identity, and reaching their full potential.
