My name is Haleigh Vescio! I'm classically trained Soprano and voice teacher. I hold my initial Teaching Certification for K-12 Music Education. I am currently a full time music teacher and private voice instructor with 3 years of experience. I strive to build off of the skills my students already have and give them the tools and resources to reach their long and short- term goals in music; in any genre they desire. I find great importance in self-advocacy. I want my students to be able to use their foundation of knowledge to ultimately experiment and make discoveries on their own. I aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel valued and empowered to explore their musical abilities. I strive to know my students individually, understanding their unique backgrounds, interests, and learning styles, thereby tailoring my instruction to meet their diverse needs. By building strong relationships with my students, I aim to foster a sense of trust and mutual respect within the ensemble. I prioritize the development of the whole person, recognizing that my students are not only musicians but also individuals with unique interests and aspirations. Beyond technical proficiency, I aim to instill in my students a lifelong appreciation for music, a deep sense of cultural understanding.
