Hi I’m Maia! I am a friendly and enthusiastic singing teacher with conservatoire-level Arts training from the Royal Welsh College of Drama and a strong background in pop, classical, musical theatre, and opera. Alongside my freelance coaching, I have extensive experience working with children and young people with a range of different needs, in performing arts and educational settings, fostering confidence, creativity, and strong vocal technique. My teaching is mainly focused around building a solid technique and an engaging performance, but most importantly, I want my students to enjoy themselves. I will reccomend music as we go along and I get to know your voice, but I am also very open the sessions being lead by the student. What do YOU want to sing? And then I will help you sing it the best that you can. Alongside my teaching, I am a Proffesional Soloist across South Wales and South-West England, featuring as a soloist in CD Recordings, and performing in regular concerts. As an active professional performer, I have direct and current experience in the industry. This also mesns I bring the musicality, discipline, and professionalism that I have in my career to my teaching, creating inclusive and inspiring spaces where young performers can thrive.
