Singing concepts taught by Julia
The student and tutor worked on vocal technique and interpretation of the piece "flowers." They practiced singing with a drone, focused on diaphragmatic support, jaw relaxation, and proper vowel formation. The tutor also addressed the rhythmic and melodic challenges of a new section, "Nothing's Gonna Wake You Now," and provided practice strategies for the student.

The student practiced vocal exercises to improve pitch accuracy and worked on understanding complex rhythms and dotted notes.
