I am an experienced teacher, with a Music Degree majoring in Jazz Vocal Performance, and a Classical Singing diploma, currently on a year out before pursuing a Masters of Jazz Singing. I have experience teaching both private pupils and larger groups. I currently run a Jazz Choir, which perform regularly, and I frequently gig myself, therefore providing real industry advice, experience, and repertoire. I am passionate about creating engaging and interesting lessons that leave you feeling fulfilled and inspired. Whether it be learning a classical aria or working on Jazz improvisation, I personalize each lesson to the level and style desired, taking a student-led teaching approach to the lessons. I have degree-level experience in ear-training, harmony, improvisation and am also passionate about performance coaching, in order to ensure healthy technique!

In my student-led teaching approach, I personalise all lessons to the pupil, whether that be their desired genre, repertoire they want to learn, or vocal health advice. I specialise in teaching Jazz Singing, Classical Singing, Pop singing and Musical Theatre, for all ages from beginners to intermediates. Whether you are preparing for exams, a concert, or want to sing for pleasure, I can provide tailored support and structured lessons through online tools like Zoom and Google Meet and interactive singing apps. I also use traditional methods such as individualised warm-ups for students, centering their goals and portraying good technique. For Jazz students I take a focus on improvisation and scatting in lessons, and use interactive chords and backing tracks to support this learning. I also take a focus on vocal technique in students, to ensure singing in the most healthy and enjoyable way!
