Supportive biology tutor for elementary to college students for varied learning styles.

Hi! My name is Jaspreet. I am a recent graduate with a bachelors degree in biology. I am currently attending my first year of medical school. I have been tutoring students for 7 years in various subjects. However, currently I specialize in biology and help students improve their grades, get ahead, and prepare for any exams. I cater to students of several grade levels, from elementary school to college. I offer test prep specifically for the NYS regents, AP Bio, and any other upcoming tests you are preparing for. I adjust my teaching style to each students individual learning style in order to help them get the most out their sessions. I make sure our sessions are engaging and something my students look forward to. I create a comfortable learning environment where all and any questions are strongly encouraged. My teaching methods depend mostly on the personality and learning style of my students. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, because every student processes information differently. At the start, I take time to understand where they feel confident and where they struggle, then I tailor our sessions to target those gaps in a structured but supportive way. I focus heavily on breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps so they actually understand what they’re doing rather than just memorizing. I like to ask guiding questions and walk through practice problems together so students learn how to think critically and apply information independently. I also emphasize consistency, strategy, and confidence building, because longterm improvement comes from mastering fundamentals and developing strong study habits, not cramming.
