Teaching physics with new and powerful methods of visualisation and demonstrations

My name is Parth Pathak. I have completed my Master’s degree in Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. I am currently preparing for various PhD entrance examinations. My aim is to teach physics by combining theoretical concepts, different types of problems, and real-life applications. Most physics courses follow a similar framework that focuses mainly on textbook theory and a limited set of problems directly related to the theory. As a result, many students struggle when they encounter different types of problems, which leads them to believe that the subject is very difficult. Real-life applications are rarely discussed in such courses, which often makes the topics seem dull and less meaningful. When students cannot see the significance of what they are learning, their interest in the subject decreases. My teaching style focuses on three key aspects of learning physics: theory, problem-solving, and real-life applications. This approach helps students develop a deeper and more complete understanding of the subject. Quizzes and assignments will also be an important part of the course, as they play a vital role in developing strong problem-solving skills. In addition, individualized syllabi can be designed to meet the specific learning needs of each student. My areas of expertise include Condensed Matter Physics, Atomic and Nuclear Physics, Classical Mechanics, and Quantum Mechanics. I can also teach Electricity and Magnetism and Statistical Mechanics at a basic level.
