My name is Aaron, and I have dedicated many years to studying and performing in musical theatre and singing. I trained for four years at the prestigious BRIT School before continuing my professional development at drama school in Brighton, refining both my performance and technical skills. Over the past few years, I have developed a real passion for teaching, offering both group classes and one-to-one training in all aspects of musical theatre — with a particular focus on singing. My goal is not only to improve your voice, but to shape you into a confident, versatile, and fully rounded performer. In lessons, we will build a strong and varied repertoire while developing healthy, sustainable vocal technique. I train singers across a wide range of styles, including pop/rock, legit musical theatre, contemporary musical theatre, 50s/60s, country, and more. This stylistic versatility is essential in today’s competitive industry, and I ensure that the skills you develop are relevant, adaptable, and performance-ready. Whether you are preparing for auditions, building confidence, or aiming to pursue musical theatre professionally, my training will equip you with the technique, artistry, and assurance to stand out.

I truly believe musical theatre training should be as joyful as it is disciplined. My teaching approach is built around creating a supportive, encouraging space where students feel safe to explore, take risks, and grow — always with a smile! A core part of my vocal work is influenced by Estill Vocal Training, giving students a clear understanding of how the voice works and how to use it efficiently, safely, and with versatility. By developing technical awareness and control, we can expand vocal range, strengthen stamina, and unlock new colours in the voice that feel both free and sustainable. I also place great importance on training the ear. Musical theatre performers need strong musicianship — whether that’s holding harmonies, adapting keys, learning music quickly, or connecting emotionally to the score. Through focused listening exercises and practical application, I help students become confident, responsive musicians as well as strong singers. Beyond technique, confidence is at the heart of everything I teach. We work on performance presence, storytelling, and self-belief — because talent shines brightest when it’s backed by assurance. I also ensure students gain a realistic understanding of the industry: audition expectations, stylistic differences, professional standards, and what it truly takes to build a sustainable career. Musical theatre is demanding — but it should always feel exciting, empowering, and creatively fulfilling. My aim is to help every student leave lessons feeling stronger, more knowledgeable, and inspired to keep growing.
