Hi, my name is Gabrielle Gans and I have a Bachelor’s degree in violin performance. I absolutely love teaching and I have taught online and in person for about 6 years. I also play piano and would love to help you on your journey with music on either piano or violin! I am experienced with teaching beginners, intermediate, or advanced and I am a huge believer in personalizing the lessons for each student because everyone learns differently. Generally, i use the Suzuki method and I also incorporate music theory and ear training. Music has brought me so many wonderful experiences as I have been able to travel all over the world for it. I’ve been to Europe, Japan, Argentina, Puerto Rico, and many places in the U.S. It has brought amazing people into my life and I cant wait to share those experiences with you! My violin teaching method is rooted in the Suzuki philosophy, emphasizing learning through listening, repetition, and positive reinforcement. I believe every student can develop musical ability when taught in a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and confidence. Lessons focus on tone production, posture, and rhythmic accuracy while integrating ear training, technique, and expressive playing. Consistency and joyful practice encourage steady progress, with parental involvement playing a key role in each student’s success and motivation. I also incorporate music reading, ensemble skills, and individual artistry, helping each student become both a confident musician and a lifelong music lover. Above all, I strive to inspire discipline, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of violin performance.
