I am Carl Dexter Capistrano, a Registered Microbiologist and current first-year medical student in Tagum City. Previously, I served as a General Biology teacher at a prestigious university in Cagayan de Oro City, where I consistently received near-perfect evaluation scores for my effective and engaging teaching methods. My passion for education, combined with deep expertise in Animal and Plant Biology, Microbiology, and Human Anatomy, allows me to break down complex scientific concepts into their simplest, most digestible forms. I pride myself on my creative approach; I strive to correlate scientific theories with real-life applications so my students can truly grasp the practicality of what they are learning. I have always observed that students love when I add real-life situations or applications to what I teach, so I make sure I incorporate these methods for effective learning. I specialize in Plant and Animal Biology, Microbiology, and Human Anatomy, and I make sure that my students learn what I am trying to convey. I am patient, understanding, and I seek other sources that I know will help my students. I use different useful sites for laboratory simulations, easy animations from video websites, some apps and books for better understanding. Through my previous work, I have learned how to manage time by structuring what I teach, and making sure I don't miss relevant information while not overcrowding my students' great minds. With over 100 students taught, I prioritize individualized attention and I am dedicated to help students succeed academically.
