Hello! My name is Milli Shrader, I am an enthusiastic pianist who has been teaching (primarily in person but also some online) piano lessons for almost 2 years. I love working with other people and sharing what i have learned through my 20 years of study and performance, and I am so excited to bring my lessons to this online platform! I specialise in classical piano and have passed my ABRSM grade 8 practical exam and my Grade 5 theory, but I also love learning modern pieces such as pop and some classic rock, and I really enjoy working with each student and tailoring lessons to fit your personal needs and goals! I aim to provide a comprehensive learning experience: My expertese lies in enhancing your skills in technique and performance, whilst incorporating lots of sight reading, scales, and music theory too if desired, but always with a strong focus on creativity and fun in the lesson too! I offer personalised piano tuition for students of all levels, from kids to adults. My teaching style focuses on achieving a balance between technique, performance skills, music theory, and ear training, whilst most importantly being creative to ensure that lessons are enjoyable and effective! I like lessons to be as interactive as possible so love online resources and whiteboards, along with some games and quizzes, to enhance the learning experience. Having been tutoring for just shy of 2 years i teach on average around 40-50 students a week from age 4 to 75, ensuring that each individual still gets tailored and personal attention needed to thrive in their musical development. Whatever your age or your skill level, I love to help build a really solid foundation and also deep love for music which will help each student succeed!
