Parham - Your piano teacher
Hi, I’m Parham — a composer, pianist, and music theory instructor currently studying for my Master of Music at the University of Aberdeen. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and have experience teaching music theory to beginner and intermediate students. I’ve worked with students to help them truly understand music — not just read notes, but understand harmony, structure, and how music actually works. In my lessons, I focus on making theory practical and creative, so students can use what they learn in real music-making. Alongside teaching, I’m active as a choir member with the Ordibehesht Choir, which has strengthened my ensemble skills, sight-reading, and musical expression. Whether you're just starting out or want to deepen your understanding of music, my goal is to make lessons clear, encouraging, and inspiring.

Piano lessons at a glance
my teaching approach combines performance coaching, sight-reading, and music theory in a way that feels practical and engaging. I aim to make piano lessons both structured and enjoyable, whether you’re learning Classical piano or simply starting your musical journey. In addition to traditional teaching methods, I sometimes use helpful online tools such as video tutorials, Pianote, and Flowkey to support practice at home. I believe in following a clear and progressive plan, while also adapting lessons to each student’s pace, interests, and long-term goals. I’ve worked with more than 10 students, from children to adults, at beginner and intermediate levels. My focus is always on helping students truly understand music — not just play the notes — and to build confidence, musical independence, strong technique, and a genuine love for music along the way.
