Taylor - Get to know your vocal coach
Hi! I'm Taylor, an online vocal coach with experience on stage, screen and with performance-based exams. I have taught ages 7 + whom have continued to perform on West End Stages. I prioritise vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, good posture, diction and pronunciation. I have had the priviledge to work with acclaimed actors, singers and vocal experts during my own time as a performer. I have dedicated 10 years towards my singing exams and passed my London College of Music Diploma for Performance in 2023. Whether you enjoy popular music or musical theatre, perhaps cabaret or jazz, let's work together to improve your vocals and overall confidence with singing! It doesn't matter if you are just getting started or have been singing for a long time, all ages are welcome. I hope to help motivate as many aspiring singers, developing vocal range, musical style and repertoire.

Singing lessons highlights
When I teach vocals online, I’ve learned that the biggest shift isn’t the content, but the way I communicate and structure everything. I’m still teaching breathing, tone, pitch, and expression, but I have to do it in a more intentional and descriptive way because I’m not physically in the same room as my student. Over time, I’ve developed a set of teaching methods that work really well in the online space. The method I rely on most is demonstration. I show almost everything with my own voice and body. I exaggerate posture, mouth shape, and breathing so it’s easy to see on camera. Since students can’t always catch subtle details through a screen, I make things more visual and obvious than I would in person. I also use short recorded demos so they can rewatch exercises between lessons. Another big part of my teaching is guided practice. I structure lessons around small, focused exercises like warm-ups, scales, and simple patterns. Because of internet delay, we usually don’t sing at the exact same time. Instead, I’ll sing first, then listen to them, then give feedback. It becomes more of a “you sing, I listen” cycle, which actually helps me hear them more clearly and give more accurate corrections.
