Gagan - Your piano teacher

I am an experienced piano teacher and performer with over 20 years of dedication to the instrument and more than 8 years of guiding students in their musical journeys. My passion for piano began at a young age, leading me to perform my first solo concert at just 12 years old — an early milestone that shaped my lifelong commitment to music. Since then, I have had the privilege of performing in concerts across multiple countries, gaining valuable stage experience and artistic insight that I bring into every lesson. I completed my formal piano training through Trinity College London, earning a distinction that reflects both strong technical discipline and expressive musicality. My playing is grounded in solid classical training while embracing creativity and personal interpretation. As an educator, I believe that learning piano should be both structured and inspiring. My extensive performance background allows me to teach not only technique and theory, but also musical expression, confidence, and stage presence. I am committed to nurturing each student’s unique potential, helping them build strong foundations while developing a genuine love for music that lasts a lifetime.

Piano lessons at a glance

My teaching approach is built around creating a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every student can grow with confidence. I teach both children and adults from beginner to intermediate levels, carefully tailoring each lesson to suit the student’s individual pace, goals, and learning style. Whether a student is learning piano for enjoyment, examinations, or performance, I focus on building strong technical foundations alongside musical understanding and expressive playing. Drawing from my professional training with Trinity College London and extensive performance experience, I guide students beyond simply playing notes. Lessons include technique development, rhythm training, sight reading, musical interpretation, and performance skills — helping students become well-rounded musicians. I emphasize consistent progress, discipline, and creativity, ensuring students understand the music they play while developing confidence and independence. Above all, I strive to make learning piano an enjoyable and motivating experience. I create a positive atmosphere where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore music, and celebrate their achievements. My goal is not only to teach piano skills, but to inspire a lifelong appreciation for music and a sense of pride in every student’s growth.
