Learn and develop your voice with personalised methods and develop musical understanding

I’m Ethan Saunders, a singing tutor with over a year of experience developing personalised singing lessons. I focus on blues, jazz and pop singing, and more i offer a wide variety of lessons tailored to beginners from all ages just wanting to learn. I focus on harmonisation, chords, improvisation, music theory and vocal training. Through my experience with students, the first thing i always do is get to know what their listening habbits are. I do this to gain an understanding of the student as well as potentially what style of singing they associate themselves with. This therefore make my lessons tailored specifically to them the student as i teach them performance techniques, ensuring a thorough and engaging learning process. I am also more than happy to additionally teach any music production tricks that may help if a student wants to create their own music.

Having performance experience, i understand that confidence is a key aspect to singing which is why i try create a no pressure environment. Having been a beginner myself i understand the journey that you go on to develop your singing skills and i know for some, it may not be easy, which is why i focus on a patient teaching style. My main goal is to try and get students on their way to showcasing their skill set and to very importantly, widen their listening range. I firmly believe that the more music you listen to, the better you understand different cultures and the more you gain in music knowledge. I additionally want to teach a breif overview of how the music industry works and some important information i personally believe should be commonly known. To do this, i would give examples and do my best to expain in a way that can be communicated best to the specific student.
