🌱 Expert Biology Tutor (+5 Years of Experience) | Personalized, Engaging Lessons for All Levels

My name is Angelo and I am passionate Biology tutor with a dual background in Medicine and Educational Psychology. As an IB alumnus (HL Biology 6), I bring over 5 years of experience in intensive exam preparation and diverse international curricula. I have led intensive summer revision courses and served as a teacher’s assistant within multidisciplinary school environments, tailoring my support to a wide range of learning profiles and ages. ​Having completed two years of medical school at a top-tier Dutch university, I offer advanced insights into topics like Human Physiology, Genetics, and Biochemistry. Currently, I am finishing a degree in Educational Psychology in Madrid, which allows me to integrate learning psicology into my sessions. I've worked with long-term students walking them through their syllabus and short-term students helping them prepare for exams or turn in assignments. Count on me for either kind of help!

My methodology is interactive, personalized, and progress-oriented. Here is the general structure you can expect: You come to me with the specific topics, goals and deadlines you want to work on. I'll create a personalized study planner and together we'll create a Google Docs to compile the Biology notes you'll learn from. This document will be the template for our sessions with attached animations, videos and interactive exercises. What has really made a difference for my students is to also do past-exam practice problems to consolidate information and make sure you're exam ready. My aims for our sessions are the following: - ​Concept Clarity: Distil the information in a bite-sized, digestible way to make sure you go beyond memorizing material. - ​Fun: Make the lesson as interactive as possible this way you get the most out of our time together - ​Long-Term Skills: While focusing on making sure you ace your exams, you'll practice life-long, psychology based learning strategies you can use throughout your studies.
