Ben is a self-taught pianist and Qualified Music Teacher (QTS) with a BA Honours degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Ben set up PKG to help people to learn to play the piano and gain an understanding of learning a new skill and a new instrument. Work alongside Ben today and unlock something new. Ben is self-taught in sight reading music teaching ABRSM,Trinity, RSL Piano Exams from Initial Grade - Grade 8. Ben also specialises in improvisation based learning, ear training, and learning the piano for fun. ​ A musician of over a decade, Ben is also an ex-rapper and composer. Ben originally started of with composing Afrobeats music as a rapper, with influences of his native origin of Nigeria. Ben is also Head of Music at a mainstream secondary school with a passion for teaching and mentoring students through all areas of music—including songwriting, instrumental lessons, and music production using DAW softwares such as Logic Pro X,Bandlab and Garage Band. ​ Ben's ability to play the piano began in church, where he developed his skills as a keyboardist. Ben brings that experience into both the classroom and tutoring, blending genres like Gospel, classical, jazz, UK Rap, Afrobeats, R&B, and pop through huis teaching style. Ben has a fun and friendly approach to teaching and is able to tailor his style of teaching to all ages.

Ben is a Keyboardist/Pianist/Music Specialist. Ben has been making music for over ten years, specialising in all kinds of genres although he grew up specifically making music tailored to UK Rap/Afrobeats music due to his native of Nigerian descent. He has been working with children at a school for many years being the Head Of Music at all boys SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) and now currently the Head of Music at a mainstreamed school 11-16 teaching students a variety of different musical elements including, song-writing where by students have had the opportunity to improve on their lyrical-writing with the impact of understanding all kinds of music and what's best fit. He also has experience in teaching students vocal training to develop their singing skills/rapping skills that would be later applied to tracks of their choice. Ben is also a Keyboardist at his church. ​ Alongside being a Rapper-Songwriter, Ben is a Pianist/Producer who has an EDEXCEL Certificate in Music Production. Ben teaches children/adults how to play the piano from levels from beginner, intermediate and advanced. His passion to work with people is undeniable and is raring to transport his skills to those with a musical interest. Ben will help you play the piano confidentially covering areas such as Scaling,Chord Progressions,Octaves,Major & Minor keys and many more. He will also teach you how to play songs of your chosen genre and preferred preference of music style.
