I’m Shannon, an online tutor and licensed educator with experience in choral and solo singing. I have tutored and mentored students as young as elementary aged up until high school in varying musical works. Whether you’re rehearsing a part for the school musical or just love singing pop hits in the car, you can benefit from my lessons! I can help with vocal technique, reading classical notation, ear training, sight singing, and more! No matter what type of music you listen to or who your favorite musician is, I’ve got a spot for you. Singing is a battle of confidence, so during our lessons we will work on harnessing your sound and letting it shine! I use a blend of breathing techniques, confidence-building exercises, and flexibility to cater to diverse learning styles while engaging the body and brain. I leverage tech tools like Google Meet, Zoom, and other interactive online resources to create engaging and interactive lessons. Students are also able to enhance their ear training and sight singing skills with the use of music notation software. You can choose any music that interests you to interact with during your lesson time. With a curriculum that emphasizes skill progression and performance readiness, I teach kids, adults, and beginners, fostering a supportive environment for all my students to excel in their vocal abilities.
