Learn the Music You Love While Mastering the Skills You Need for Real Musical Growth

I’m Luis Lorenzo, a passionate music lover dedicated to many aspects of the art form, including learning, creating, performing, and teaching. Music has always been a huge part of my life, and I love sharing that passion with others. I have over two years of experience teaching both guitar and piano, working with students of different ages and skill levels. I specialize in rhythm guitar, guitar technique, and music theory, helping students build a strong foundation while also developing their creativity and confidence as musicians. My lessons are designed for beginners through intermediate players, and I always tailor my approach to each student’s interests and goals. I believe learning music should be inspiring and fun, so I focus on discovering what excites each student most and using that to keep them motivated and engaged.

My teaching methodology is centered around making music learning engaging, practical, and personally meaningful for each student. I believe that strong fundamentals are important, but they should always be taught in a way that feels connected to the music the student actually enjoys. In my lessons, I combine technique, theory, and real musical application. Rather than teaching concepts in isolation, I show students how rhythm, chords, scales, and theory directly relate to the songs they love. This helps them not only understand music better, but also feel excited about practicing and improving. I adapt my teaching style to match each student’s learning pace, goals, and experience level. Some students thrive with structure and exercises, while others learn best through playing songs and creative exploration. I make sure to balance both. I also encourage students to develop their ear, creativity, and confidence so they can grow into independent musicians, not just players who follow instructions. Above all, I aim to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves through music.
