Hi, I’m Reid, a piano and keyboard tutor who loves making music fun and achievable for everyone! I teach all ages and skill levels, helping students build confidence, technique, and musicality through personalised lessons. Whether you’re learning your first song or brushing up on chord theory im here to help. My lessons encompass chord/scale theory, ear training and performance skills. I take a student led approach as aim to tailor lessons to each individual. Whether you are looking to develop a deep understanding of the instrument or just want to play songs for, fun im here to help. A bit about me : I have been playing piano and keyboards professionally for over 15 years. During that time I have perodrmed at hundereds of events ranging from weddings to Arenas, and have toured with major label artists including Marti Pellow and Nate james. I love Pop, Soul, Funk, R&B music.

I encourage learning to play by ear as well as incorporating music theory to develop a strong musical foundation to build from. I also like to get my students playing different keyboard instruments including electric pianos, organs and pads, and teach how these can be used in a range of musical settings to enhance songs and performances. I offer personalised tutoring focusing on creative and engaging lessons tailored to individual needs. Whether you are aspiring to play professionally, or just want to play for fun I can help. I can teach the basic principles of music theory including scales, chords and rhythm and show how they can be incorporated in practice. I like lessons to be student led and ulitmately fun and enjoyable. Whether that’s assisting with learning a song by ear, improving chord vocabulary, developing improvisation ideas or how to build a solo.
