Experienced ESL & IELTS Teacher | Fun, Student-Centered Lessons That Build Real Confidence

Teaching has been one of the most meaningful and transformative experiences of my life. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and proficiency levels, and every single class has taught me something new—not just about education, but about people, culture, patience, and growth. I am an ESL and IELTS teacher, and I teach children, teenagers, and adults from different countries such as Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, and several Arab countries. Each group comes with its own learning style, expectations, and challenges. Early on, I realized that teaching English is never just about grammar rules or vocabulary lists. It’s about communication, confidence, and creating a safe space where students are not afraid to make mistakes. One of my earliest lessons as a teacher was learning how important empathy is in the classroom. Many students come to class feeling nervous, shy, or pressured. Teaching young learners is a completely different experience, but just as fulfilling. Children have short attention spans, so lessons must be energetic, creative, and fun.

My teaching methodology is student-centered, practical, and confidence-driven. I believe that effective learning happens when students feel safe, motivated, and actively involved in the process. Rather than treating students as passive receivers of information, I see them as partners in learning. My role as a teacher is to guide, support, and structure lessons in a way that allows students to discover their potential and use English meaningfully in real-life situations. Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation are important, but I prioritize the ability to express ideas clearly and confidently. Many students come to class with a fear of making mistakes, so I deliberately create a classroom environment where errors are treated as a natural and valuable part of learning. I allow them to complete their thoughts, then provide constructive feedback afterward. This approach helps students build fluency without anxiety and gradually refine accuracy
