Amira - Your piano teacher
I am a dedicated and patient piano tutor offering personalised online lessons for children, adults, and beginners who want to build a genuine understanding of music rather than simply memorising pieces. With over two years of teaching experience, my approach focuses on chord theory, ear training, rhythm, and musical confidence, helping students understand why music works, not just how to play it. My lessons are especially suited to students who feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from traditional graded systems. I create a calm, supportive learning environment where progress happens at a steady and realistic pace. I work with acoustic and digital pianos and adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style, whether they learn best by ear, through structure, or by exploration. Rather than focusing on performance pressure, I help students develop musical independence, creativity, and trust in their own ability. My goal is to make piano feel accessible, expressive, and enjoyable , not intimidating. If you’re looking for a tutor who values patience, understanding, and real musical growth, I’d love to support your journey.

My teaching methodology is based on personalised, student-led learning rather than a one-size-fits-all system. I begin by understanding each student’s goals, learning style, and relationship with music, then adapt lessons accordingly. I place strong emphasis on chord theory, rhythm, and ear training, helping students build a solid musical foundation that allows them to play with confidence and independence. Rather than relying solely on sight-reading or graded exams, I focus on helping students understand how music works. This includes recognising patterns, chord progressions, and musical structure so students can apply their skills across different songs and styles. I use simple theory explanations, listening exercises, and practical demonstrations to make learning intuitive and accessible. My lessons are structured but flexible. I often give gentle, realistic practice tasks that support progress without pressure, especially for students who feel overwhelmed by traditional methods. I work with acoustic and digital pianos and incorporate online resources when helpful, while keeping lessons calm, focused, and supportive. My approach is particularly suited to beginners, adults, and neurodivergent learners who benefit from patience, clarity, and encouragement. Above all, my goal is to help students trust themselves, enjoy learning, and develop a lasting connection with music.
