Hi my name is Oliver Turtle a passionate piano teacher dedicated to helping students of all ages learn piano with confidence, creativity, and joy. With a strong foundation in music theory and performance, I tailor every lesson to each student’s goals—whether you want to read music fluently, play your favorite songs, prepare for exams, or simply enjoy making music. I teach a variety of different musical genres from: classical, pop and jazz music. From beginner to advanced. I specialize in sight reading and music theroy helping you learn the songs at home without my help. I teach any age it’s never too late to achieve your goals. Weather you want to learn ABRSM grades or want to learn your favourite songs and show off to your friends and family. My online piano teaching methodology is student-centered, structured, and flexible. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, goals, and musical interests. I focus on building strong fundamentals in technique, posture, rhythm, and music reading while keeping lessons engaging and enjoyable. Concepts are introduced step by step, combining practical playing with clear explanations of music theory. I use guided demonstrations, interactive exercises, and personalized practice plans to ensure steady progress. My goal is to help students develop confidence, musical understanding, and a lifelong enjoyment of playing the piano. With 19 years of piano playing I know secrets to help you with your practice. My lesson include 80% playing and 20% theory. I find its easier to take breaks it often gets frustrated practising sometimes.
