Patient and Experienced ESL Teacher Helping Japanese and Chinese Learners Build Confident, Clear English Communication Through Engaging

I am an experienced ESL teacher with two years of teaching experience working with Japanese and Chinese learners from diverse age groups and proficiency levels. Throughout my teaching journey, I have focused on helping students improve their English communication skills, particularly in speaking, listening, pronunciation, and everyday conversation. Working with international students also allowed me to gain valuable cross-cultural communication skills. Teaching Japanese and Chinese learners required sensitivity to different learning styles, levels of confidence, and cultural expectations. I believe that students learn best when lessons are engaging, structured, and tailored to their individual needs, learning styles, and goals.I primarily use a communicative and learner-centered approach where students expressing their ideas in English.I begin each lesson by reviewing previously learned material to reinforce retention and assess the student’s progress.using clear explanations and simple examples. I break down complex concepts into manageable steps so that learners can apply them with confidence. After introducing new content, I provide guided practice activities such as role-playing, reading exercises, or conversation prompts.I also incorporate repetition, modeling, and scaffolding techniques to help students gradually build strategy. I regularly monitor student performance through observation, short evaluations, and lesson feedback. This allows me to adjust lessonnot only to teach language skills but also to help students gain confidence, independence, and motivation in their learning journey
