Passionate biology tutor offering collaborative and interactive lessons and activities with a friendly demeanor to enjoy learning

I am Trisha Bose and I have taught science for over a year, especially biology. My primary expertise includes human anatomy, genetics, microbiology, cell biology, and general biological sciences. I have experience teaching students from grades K-12 in both classroom settings and one-on-one. I like to provide lessons based on needs, curriculum, and areas of focus. From school and homework to exam preparation, I ensure that students can understand concepts through presentations, personalized lesson plans, and even lab experiments. Whether any student needs a review or clarification, I am more than happy to help and enhance skills and understanding. I get along very well with students of all ages and personalities. I am highly capable of adapting various teaching styles based on each student’s age, personality, accommodations, and motivations.

My teaching style is intended to be collaborative, interactive, and include hands on activities to keep students engaged. I like to include real world applications and examples that demonstrates a candid understanding of biology and its functions in a way that integrates conceptual thinking. To enhance learning, I use engage students with various resources like presentations, worksheets, activities, 3D model building, diagrams, and video conferencing. From time to time, I also like to give quizzes to check understanding and communicate with students and parents to discuss progress, address concerns, and plan learning strategies to utilize outside classrooms and the tutoring environment. I am also able to adapt different teaching approaches depending on the student’s age, grade level, personality, and areas of focus. Over the past year, I have experience working with over 50 students and I am highly capable of providing support for each and every studrnt based on academic needs and learning pace to help them succeed.
