With over seven years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), I am Sherlaine Joy Pizon, a dedicated and passionate online English teacher. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and proficiency levels, including young learners, teenagers, university students, and working professionals. This diverse experience has helped me develop a flexible and student-centered teaching approach that adapts to each learner’s needs, goals, and learning style. For young learners, I create fun, engaging, and structured lessons that include songs, stories, games, and visuals to build vocabulary, phonics, and sentence formation. I place strong emphasis on pronunciation and foundational grammar while encouraging students to speak in full sentences from an early stage. For teens and adults, I focus on fluency, accuracy, and practical communication, integrating grammar naturally into speaking and writing tasks. I provide clear explanations, examples, and immediate feedback to support improvement. I also incorporate digital tools and online resources to keep lessons engaging and effective. My goal is to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, building confidence, and progressing steadily in their English skills.
