I am Emily Logan, I have been singing from a young age and have experience performing across a wide range of musical genres. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of vocal technique, performance, and musical expression through both solo and group performances. My background includes working with different styles of music, which allows me to adapt easily to each singer’s goals and interests. Whether you’re looking to build confidence, improve technique, explore new genres, or prepare for performances, I bring flexibility and encouragement into every lesson. I believe that no two voices are the same, so I tailor each lesson to the individual. I take the time to understand your strengths, challenges, and personal goals, creating a supportive and comfortable learning environment where you can grow at your own pace. My priority is to make sure you feel confident, relaxed, and motivated during lessons while developing healthy vocal habits and strong technique. Singing lessons highlights
My teaching methodology is student-centred and adaptable, recognising that every voice and learning style is unique. I begin by getting to know each student’s goals, experience level, and musical interests, allowing lessons to be shaped around what they want to achieve. Lessons focus on developing healthy vocal technique through proper breathing, posture, vocal warm-ups, and exercises designed to build strength, control, and flexibility. I place strong emphasis on vocal health to ensure students sing safely and sustainably while improving their sound. I combine technical training with musical expression, helping students develop confidence, performance skills, and emotional connection to the music. Exercises and repertoire are chosen to suit the individual, whether they are beginners or more advanced singers. Creating a supportive and relaxed environment is central to my teaching approach. I encourage open communication, patience, and positive feedback so students feel comfortable exploring their voice and progressing at their own pace. My goal is to make lessons engaging, effective, and enjoyable while supporting long-term vocal development.
