ACT Reading lessons that are problem-solving and adaptable

My teaching strategy for ACT Reading is built on a foundation of integrity, understanding, cultural sensitivity, and problem-solving. I believe in creating a supportive and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of their growth. I approach each student as an individual, recognizing that everyone learns differently and that cultural backgrounds can influence how students interpret texts and concepts. By incorporating this sensitivity into my lessons, I help students connect more deeply with the material, making reading more engaging and accessible. In addition to reading comprehension, my lessons emphasize problem-solving techniques that help students approach questions logically and confidently. I break down complex reading passages and questions, focusing on the key strategies needed to identify main ideas, inferences, and tone. Beyond ACT Reading, I also offer tutoring in other subjects, using the same approach of personalization and adaptability to suit each students learning style and needs.
