Sonnia - Yoga instructor

I am a 500-hour experienced yoga teacher, certified by Yoga Alliance, with specialization in Ayurveda and the main yoga styles. My practice and teaching integrate the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success Yoga and Primordial Sound Meditation as pathways to integral transformation. I have been teaching yoga since 2013, and since 2019 I have extensive experience teaching online and in-person, in both synchronous and asynchronous formats. I have led yoga classes and guided events for more than 500 participants and regularly serve as a lead teacher. Since 2015, I have been a lead teacher for the Yoga Teacher Training programs at Arts Yoga University, training and certifying yoga instructors. My teaching secret is living yoga through my own experience and showing others how yoga works on the mind, emotions, body, biology, physiology, energy, environment, and everyday life.

My methodology for teaching yoga online is based on a conscious, structured, and experiential pedagogy, designed to maintain presence, safety, and depth even at a distance. I integrate clear demonstration, precise verbal cueing, and attentive observation, guiding students to develop body, breath, and energetic awareness. I use accessible progressions, options, and adaptations for different levels, encouraging autonomy and self-observation. I combine physical practice, breathing techniques, meditation, and reflection, creating dynamic and well-sequenced classes. The core of my methodology is that students experience yoga in real life, understanding how it impacts their mind, emotions, body, and daily living—even through a screen. The most important part is that I teach you to practice this every day so you love this practice you leave this practice to enjoy this practice and you can have the benefits of a mindful wellness healthy life.
