I’m Kristina, a TEFL-certified English teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience in both academic and online learning environments. I started my teaching career at the university level, where I taught college students and handled subjects related to communication, business, and professional development. Alongside teaching, I was also actively involved in training programs, seminars, and extension work, which allowed me to work closely with learners from different backgrounds. For the past several years, I’ve also been teaching online ESL and Business English, working with students and professionals who want to improve their spoken English, workplace communication, and confidence. I believe that students learn best when lessons are tailored to their level, learning style, and personal goals, so I begin by understanding what the student wants to achieve—whether it’s improving daily communication, academic English, or Business English for the workplace. I use a structured yet flexible approach in my lessons. Each session typically includes a short review, introduction of new language, guided practice, and application through real-life situations. For Business English learners, I incorporate authentic workplace scenarios such as meetings, presentations, email writing, interviews, and professional discussions to help students use English naturally and confidently. I focus strongly on speaking practice, pronunciation, and vocabulary building, while also addressing grammar in a clear and simple way. I provide immediate, constructive feedback and encourage students to ask questions and express themselves without fear of making mistakes. I also believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I motivate students through positive reinforcement and practical exercises that build confidence over time. My goal is not only to improve English skills, but also to help students become independent, confident communicators in real-life and professional settings.
