Adaptable NAPLAN tutor with collaborative, empathetic methods

My name is Jordan Palmer and I am a tutor experienced in the fields of NAPLAN, ACT and SAT. With over 7 years of tutoring experience in test taking courses and a bachelors degree in the subject of mathematics from the university of Washington, I am more than capable of guiding students across the hurdle of these subjects and help them achieve their dream score. I am a big believer in the power of thorough revision and assessment as it rewarded my academic career and I revolve my classes around this philosophy.

Before I tutor NAPLAN, I will diagnose the students aptitude and time management and establish clear learning goals accordingly. After that, I will go over the English and Mathematical concepts one by one to ensure clear understanding. I will then, conduct periodic assessments to judge the evolution of the students learning capacity and make adjustments to the learning program in alignment with the results. I will also keep giving regular feedback to identify areas of improvement, and provide opportunity for the student to learn where he goes wrong and how he can correct it.
