Math Tutor: Explore the World of Mathematics, and a Journey Through Numbers and Concept

I am Mary Rose Hinaloc from the Philippines. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics and graduated as Master of Science in Mathematics. I am a licensed professional teacher and teaching students for over 7 years. My teaching style can be describe as interactive, enjoyable and competent. I am a teacher by profession teaching, guiding and helping learners to enhance their capacities and capabilities to develop there learning skils. I taught High School learners with different behaviour and skills. I find myself very rewarding and challenging teaching mathematics to my learners. I strive to make Mathematics as accessible, fun and engaging subject. Over the past years, my teaching style developed every years. Moments motivate me to continue inspiring students to make Mathematics as an easy subject. Overall, being a math teacher is fulfilling experience that allows me to make a positive change on student's lives.

To be an effective Mathematics teacher, I let students to engage different strategy. One of that is Peer tutoring and collaboration. Somehow these can develop student's participation and develop their thinking skills to improve and to learn easily. I also engage real world examples, where I connect the topics to real life situation. Group activities are also evident during my class, so the learners will have an interaction especially building comunication skills. I do make differentiated instructions to cater the different needs and abilities of the learners. Problem solving also used to improve there analytical skills on the subject matter. Every day, every year taught me to find different learning style so the learners can better understand the lessons. Feedbacking are also welcome. Regular asessments and constructive feedbacks help identify areas for improvement.
