Math Tutor with Excellent Results – Clear Explanations, Visual Learning & Exam Success

My name is Kadir Yalaz and I am a highly motivated mathematics tutor with a strong academic background and practical teaching experience. I achieved excellent results in mathematics (final school exam grade 1.0 and very strong university-level mathematics results) and have been giving private tutoring to students at different levels. I have experience teaching both in person and online via Zoom, using my tablet to explain problems visually with drawings, graphs, and step-by-step solutions. This method helps students truly understand concepts instead of memorizing formulas. My teaching style is structured, patient, and student-centered. I first identify gaps in understanding, then build a solid foundation before moving to more complex topics. I support students with homework, exam preparation, and long-term skill development. I strongly believe that confidence is key in mathematics, and my goal is to help students gain clarity, confidence, and measurable improvement through clear explanations and individualized learning strategies.

My teaching methodology is based on clarity, structure, and active student involvement. I believe that mathematics should be understood logically, not memorized mechanically. At the beginning of each lesson, I assess the student’s current level and identify specific gaps in understanding. Based on this, I adapt the lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning speed. I explain concepts step by step and use visual methods such as drawings, diagrams, graphs, and written calculations on my tablet during Zoom sessions. This visual approach helps students follow the reasoning process and connect theory with practice. After explanations, we immediately apply the concepts through guided exercises, increasing difficulty gradually to build confidence. I encourage students to ask questions and explain solutions in their own words, which strengthens understanding. My goal is not only short-term exam success, but long-term mathematical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in working independently.
