Piano lessons at a glance
As a music teacher, I've taught Piano and Woodwind lessons since 2018 both in person and virtually. I have experience working in preschools, private schools, and studios. I'm a firm believer that music lessons should be fun and engaging! I aim for my students to grow into confident musicians as well as view music as a source of happiness and a way to express themselves. While most traditional piano instruction focuses on scales, etudes, and classical focus, I strive to include different genres of music in my teaching. Students can choose to work on classical, jazz, pop, and contemporary pieces and are encouraged to try writing their own music! I work with your schedule and how much practice time you have. It is far more productive to focus on quality over quantity when it comes to practicing. There are many different tools I employ to teach virtually, such as guided YouTube videos and online backing tracks. We also implement apps like GarageBand for recording and looping tracks. I'm excited to help you on your musical journey!
