I am a versatile performer and educator with over 20 years of experience, a super passionate She holds an MFA in Drama from the University of Calgary, an MM in Musicology, and a Post-Graduate Artist Diploma in Voice. Her student-centered approach is available for both piano and voice, incorporating technical principles and body awareness. Lessons are available in English and Portuguese. I started my career in music over 20 years ago by teaching lessons, and I have continued to do so ever since. I love being in the classroom with students of all abilities and I believe that this is where I excel. My philosophy is to help students understand how they can discover their own solutions and show them how much fun it can be. The lessons are tailored to the student's wishes while maintaining a focus on technique and musical principles. I'm looking forward to start the lessons!

My lessons are planned with creativity and emphaty in order to keep you engaged in an effective technique, musical and artistic progression. Although I believe that online classes are a very efficient way to provide access to classes, especially for adults, I also believe that practicing a musical instrument is a way to give us some time away from the multitude of digital information in our daily lives. This also trains us to keep our mind focused on something for a set period of time. I follow a structured curriculum to cater to diverse learners, including kids, beginners, adults and advanced students. My work integrates performance, pedagogy and research. My strength is making learning the piano a rewarding and successful journey, whether as a hobby, educational supplement, or professional pursuit. With over 50 students in my audience, I personalize each lesson plan to ensure progress and enjoyment.
