Madison - Your piano teacher
I have been teaching 1 to 1 piano lessons since 2020, both face-to-face and online. I like to first cultivate students’ interest in music when they started the journey with me, but focusing the hand and finger posture at the same time. I would always ensure students have a correct playing posture before getting them into deeper learning of techniques and musical expressivity. I like to teach and explain with metaphors and stories, I find these easier for the students to understand what I am trying to deliver. It also develope the students’ capacity to use their creativity and imagination in playing music. Everyone has their iwn way of understanding on certain things, and it is the same when it comes to music. I encourage students to tell me their stories and explain to me how they understabd the music. Feel free to get in touch with me if you have interest in learning piano! I could teach in English and Chinese!
Madison graduated from UCSI University

Piano lessons at a glance
My teaching methodology in piano instruction is founded on the belief that musical development should be comprehensive, purposeful, and personally meaningful. I strive to guide students toward technical competence, musical understanding, and expressive confidence while fostering a positive and motivating learning environment. Through structured progression, individualized instruction, and consistent encouragement, I aim to help students build a strong foundation and develop a lasting relationship with music. A central principle of my approach is recognizing that each student is unique. Students come to piano study with different learning styles, abilities, motivations, and goals. I adapt my teaching strategies to meet these individual needs while maintaining a clear and organized curriculum. This balance between structure and flexibility allows students to progress steadily while remaining engaged and inspired. By aligning instruction with the student’s interests and strengths, I help cultivate intrinsic motivation and sustained commitment.
