My name is Lucy and I possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of French. I possess a masters degree in the language of French from University of Texas, and I have 7 years of teaching experience in this field of study. I aim to bring out critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills from students through thought-provoking questions and activities while also making sure to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness, respecting and valuing diverse perspectives and backgrounds in the classroom. I aim to create a warm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential

To teach a language like French, Ill start by assessing the students current understanding of the subject through preliminary discussions and establishing clear learning milestones with the student to ensure alignment with their academic needs and aspirations. I will also break down complex concepts into comprehensive tidbits of information and provide scaffolding support wherever necessary to facilitate gradual learning progression and also make sure to engage the student in interactive learning activities such as discussions, and linguistic exercises to foster active participation and deeper understanding. I will also provide regular feedback to the students to chart their progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
