My name is Lucy Foster and I possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of AP Environmental Science. I possess a master's degree in the language of French from the university of Texas, and I have 7 years of teaching experience in this field of study. I aim to bring out critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical reasoning skills from students through thought-provoking questions and activities while also making sure to demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness, respecting and valuing diverse perspectives and backgrounds in the classroom. I aim to create a warm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

To teach a test based subject like AP Environmental science, I will begin by assessing the student's current knowledge level through diagnostic tests and establish clear learning goals in collaboration with the student to ensure alignment with their academic needs and aspirations. I will also break down complex concepts into manageable tidbits of information and provide scaffolding support wherever necessary to facilitate gradual learning progression and also make sure to engage the student in interactive learning activities such as discussions, test prep and problem-solving exercises to foster active participation and deeper understanding. I will also provide regular feedback to chart the student's progress, identify areas of improvement, and provide constructive feedback for continuous growth.
