Certified ESL Teacher Helping Young Learners Build Confidence and Fluency in English

I have over 10 years of experience teaching English to elementary students in a classroom setting, where I handled diverse learners with varying abilities and learning needs. Throughout my teaching career, I have developed strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and creating engaging, student-centered activities. Since 2022, I have also been working as an online ESL teacher, teaching students from different countries and cultural backgrounds. This experience has helped me adapt my teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and proficiency levels. I am TEYL, TEFL, and TESOL certified, and I hold an EF SET Certificate with a C2 Proficient level in English. I am passionate about helping students build confidence, improve their communication skills, and develop a love for learning through meaningful and interactive lessons.

My teaching methodology is learner-centered and communicative, focusing on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I use a combination of structured lessons and interactive activities to help students develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. I apply the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach, encouraging students to use English in real-life contexts through guided practice, role-playing, and meaningful conversations. I also incorporate Total Physical Response (TPR), visual aids, and games, especially for young learners, to make lessons enjoyable and effective. I regularly assess students’ progress through formative assessments and adjust my strategies based on their needs and learning pace. By providing positive reinforcement and clear feedback, I help build students’ confidence and motivation. My goal is to create lessons that are engaging, inclusive, and tailored to help each learner achieve measurable progress.
