Sakthi Shridevi - Get to know your vocal coach
I am Ms.Sash with 3+ years of experience in teaching music. I am classically trained, but I am also a singer songwriter with songs on Spotify. My background includes: *ABRSM- Royal School of Music; certificate in Western Classical Vocals and music theory *RSL- Rockschool London Performance certificate level 3 with distinction for Western Rock and Pop Vocals. I tailor the classes according to the student or parent’s interests. I have taught from ages 6 as well as adults up to the age of 35! From complete beginners to intermediate level musicians looking at pursuing music in their future. I am experienced with the online teaching environment due to my previous experience teaching where I have taught 40+ students from all over the world! I am comfortable teaching different styles of music. I also play a bit of the piano and do music production with Logic Pro X on the side. These tools will also be incorporated in the class.

Singing lessons highlights
My music classes go like this: Breathing -> warmups -> sight singing -> working on a song -> homework. This is really important for building a strong foundation. After the student builds a strong foundation, I move to advanced techniques such as intonation -> vocal registers ->diction -> tone quality -> vibrato -> glottal onsets (vocal attacks) -> improvisation -> stage performance techniques. I mostly try to incorporate songs of the student's choosing from their favourite artists and help them master it as well as wondering the range of music skills. I also offer teach for graded music exams like Trinity and RSL. I have all the resources required for training for these music examinations. Additionally, I can also help you build your own songs :) I teach in English since my previous experience includes teaching mainly students from North America. But I can also communicate in Spanish, Hindi and Dutch.
