Motivational French lessons with patient support

 I possess in-depth knowledge and expertise in the field of language and fine arts. I possess a PhD in the language of Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I have 7 years of teaching experience in the fields of Spanish and French. I prioritize actual learning of the language over the rote memorization of the grammatical and literary concepts. In todays learning climate, it is more important now to spread linguistic knowledge instead of encouraging a culture of memorization that paves the way for failure for the students. I, therefore, strive to create an informative, warm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued, respected, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Teaching French requires me to first assess the students current knowledge of the language through diagnostic tests and establish clear learning objectives and goals with the student to ensure alignment with their academic needs and aspirations. This allows me to create a learning program that best suits the student I am tutoring. I will help break down complex linguistic aspects into comprehendible sets of information and provide plenty of revision and support to not only assist the students learning process but also build trust in the tutor. I will conduct exercises to promote active participation in the class and a deeper understanding of the language. I will also allow for a regular feedback mechanism to monitor the students progress and correct the students flaws promptly.
