Gmat insights with a motivational and problem-solving focus

My name is Evelyn, and for the past 7 years, Ive had the rewarding experience of guiding students on their academic journeys. My passion for education stems from a desire to empower students and witness their growth in understanding the multitude of concepts present in the subject of Mathematics. Leveraging my background in the subject for which I have PhD degree from the university of Virginia, I can provide strong instruction in Mathematics, while also offering support in AP Statistics and AP Calculus. Outside of the classroom, I find myself drawn to movies and music, which I believe fosters a well-rounded mindset that I integrate into my teaching approach.

Tutoring Mathematics does not have to have a complex methodology. Mine certainly is not complex. I will first brush up on the theoretical concepts that form the foundation of the subject. I will also break down complex concepts and formulas with the help of analogies and visual aids while also making sure to provide necessary support in areas of weakness to help the students better understand the concepts and help build trust in the tutor. I will also provide exercises to familiarize the student with the subjects intricacies.
