Probability & Statistics with practical applications

My name is Evelyn, and for the past 7 years, Ive had the rewarding experience of guiding students on their academic journeys. My passion for education stems from a desire to empower students and witness their growth in understanding the multitude of concepts present in the subject of AP Statistics. Leveraging my background in the subject for which I have PhD degree from the university of Virginia, I can provide strong instruction in AP Statistics, while also offering support in Mathematics and AP Calculus. Outside of the classroom, I find myself drawn to movies and music, which I believe fosters a well-rounded mindset that I integrate into my teaching approach.

I will teach the course of AP Statistics by conducting a minor introductory discussions and then simplify any complex concepts and formulaes with the help of online aids. I will make it a point to regularly evaluate student progress through quizzes, assignments, or discussions to identify areas for improvement and adjust teaching strategies as needed. I will provide tips for time management during exams and provide ample amounts of tests to help the student become more confident in his arithmetic abilities.
