Algebra & Calculus made practical, supportive, and fun

Hi, my name is Raquel Herrera. I am from the United States. I have done my Phd in Mathematics. I have always exceled in academics specifically Math. Numbers have always been my best friends. It makes me happy to share my passion and knowledge with the students. I teach Algebra, Advanced Algebra, 11th & 12th grade Math, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. I am dedicated to help students achieve their goals. I create an environment where students can feel confident and learn in a fun way. Other than teaching, I like to learn about computer applications and also read novels.

In my classes, I employ an interactive teaching approach aimed at fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. I prioritize clearing doubts by encouraging students to ask questions freely. Regular quizzes and tests are integral to the learning process, serving not only as assessment tools but also as opportunities for students to gain confidence in their skills. By incorporating varied assessment methods, I create a supportive environment that eases any apprehensions students may have. Through consistent practice, collaborative problem-solving, and individualized attention, I aim to instill both competence and confidence, ensuring students not only grasp mathematical principles but also excel in their mathematical journey.
